INFUSION THERAPY
Healthcare Associates of Irving is a physician-directed, center-based system for providing infusion therapy, which proves to be more advantageous to our patients. With this type of system, any treatment can be administered safely and efficiently. There is no need for the more traditional hospitalization saving our patients the time, expense and discomfort of a hospital admission. IV therapy is administered by a trained registered nurse with the expertise in establishing the venous access, administering the doses under the supervision of their personal physician and educating the patient and family as, needed. Our nurses are available 7 days a week, as well as, holiday to treat those patients in need of IV therapy.
In-office infusion therapies include patients diagnosed with:
- MRSA (staff infection strain)
- Cellulitis
- UIT or pyelonephritis
- Pneumonia
- Migraines
- Gastroenteritis
- Bronchitis
- Dehydration
- Plus more
Common antibiotic therapies include:
- Levaquin
- Rocephin
- Vancomycin
- Zithromax
- Cipro
- Invanz
- Clinamycin
- Claforan
Other IV therapies include
- Rehydration with various fluids
- Antimetics to control nausea (Phenergan and Zofran)
- Iron infusions for anemia
